Yes. CubeHR enforces the 5.6-week statutory minimum for full-time employees, including the option to include or exclude bank holidays from that entitlement. Part-time employees get a pro-rata equivalent automatically.
Can employees request half days?
Yes. Leave requests support full days, AM half-days, and PM half-days. You can also configure custom leave units if your company uses hours-based tracking.
How does carryover work?
You set a carryover limit (e.g., 5 days) and an expiry date (e.g., March 31). Unused days up to the limit automatically carry forward. CubeHR deducts from carried-over days first.
Can we have different leave policies for different teams?
Absolutely. Leave policies can be configured at company, location, department, or individual level. A London office could have 25 days while Manchester has 28 - CubeHR handles it all.
Does it integrate with our calendar?
Yes. CubeHR generates iCal feeds that sync with Outlook, Google Calendar, and Apple Calendar. Approved leave appears automatically in your team's calendars.
