How do QR codes prevent fraud?

Each QR code contains an HMAC-SHA256 cryptographic signature and a Unix timestamp. Codes expire after 2 minutes (configurable) and can optionally be single-use. Screenshot sharing is blocked by the expiry mechanism.

Can we use time tracking without QR codes?

Absolutely. QR codes are optional. You can use GPS clock-in from the mobile app, manual timesheet entry, or kiosk PIN codes. Mix and match by location or team.

Does it comply with UK Working Time Regulations?

Yes. CubeHR can flag when employees exceed the 48-hour weekly average (over 17 weeks), miss 11-hour rest periods between shifts, or skip 20-minute breaks on 6+ hour shifts.

Can managers edit timesheets?

Yes, with full audit trail. Any manual adjustment by a manager is logged: who changed it, what they changed, and when. The original clock event data is always preserved.
